In the Philippines, peer pressure and social acceptance of vaping are prevalent, especially among younger individuals. Our survey revealed that 62% of respondents aged 18-25 reported trying vaping due to friends or peers. This social validation not only normalizes vaping but also creates an environment where it is viewed as a trendy alternative to traditional smoking.
Another critical aspect is the marketing strategies employed by vape manufacturers.
